this project started by me staring at the bands actual artwork for their cd. the images are nice but the layout & typography are awful. it's really a shame, but that's what happens when people who aren't real designers do work for you, cause they don't even know the specifications and rules you should follow when laying something out.

basically their art was done by someone who has photoshop and calls themself a designer.

anyway i wanted to use the feather package from resurgere badly. the pictures are just amazing and need little to no manipulation or editing to make an incredible image. so i opened them up and started work on this piece.

i changed the name of the cd as well as few other little things no one will really notice unless they are in the band or did the original artwork.

let me know what ya think abou this bitch. ohh and this is definitely going in my portfolio.

the image is huge too sorry.

A real CD based on my Feather pack was made last month by a french band, AfterTaste, after they got my permission. Guess it lends itself to music well enough... I'm assuming you did this project for fun, and not actually for a real cd design; because it states pretty clearly that commercial use of this stock is not allowed without permission... And you'd have to be pretty stupid to bring this design to my attention and risk getting sued if you did this design for real... Your not stupid are you?
